FIRST STEPS IN DOING DELIVERANCE AS A DWJD MEMBER
PRAYER: Personal confession of sins, the breaking of curses, and the cleansing of emotional areas of bondage is critical. Every member of DWJD needs deliverance at some level.
KNOWLEDGE: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge,” the prophet Hosea said (4:6). To minister effectively you must operate from an informational base consistent with the DWJD approach to deliverance.
DISSOCIATION: Many of the people you’ll encounter who need deliverance will have multiple personalities (MPD–Multiple Personality Disorder or DID–Dissociative Identity Disorder). You’ll need a working knowledge of how to recognize and deal with MPD/DID.
HANDS ON EXPERIENCE: It is advisable to attend as many of Bob Larson's Spiritual Freedom Conferences as possible. You will meet other team members and discover how they became involved and learned to minister deliverance. You’ll witness actual case studies of demonization and develop first-hand knowledge of what to do in various situations when confronting demons.
PERSONAL STUDY: Personal study of God’s word, especially with passages that address demonization, is crucial. Also, add to your education by consulting and photocopying some of the recommended reference works for your own personal DWJD files.
